The SSecure Family |
|
 |
|
|
The rise in global
connectivity of devices and the use of the Internet as a
cost-effective & convenient medium for all communications needs
from remote management of embedded devices to sharing of
critical information, has made security a heightened focus in
today's embedded systems design. The desire for secure access to
and from any embedded device anywhere has offered embedded
software developers a tough choice between skimpy security
features and heavy resource usage.
SSecure solves this problem by providing a completely scalable
set of embedded network security components, with innovative
features for session management that can be used out of the box
without delving into the details of cryptography and encryption.
The SSecure Family comprises of: |
 |
|
V-IPSecure |
|
V-IPSecure
is a high-performance, embedded implementation
of the IPsec protocol suite providing a high-quality
cryptography-based secure communication channel on
embedded systems. With full support for
flexible policy specifications and complex security
associations, it enables virtual private networks (VPN) to
be easily carved out of public and/or insecure networks.
V-IPSecure also includes a highly interoperable
implementation of the IKE (Internet Key Exchange) protocol
including advanced features such as support for IKEv2,
NAT-T (NAT Traversal), Kerberos and X.509
digital certificate based authentication, in addition to
standard pre-shared keys (PSK) IKE authentication. With
its comprehensive, yet highly modular encryption cipher
and cryptographic checksum library (including AES and SHA
modules) V-IPsecure's designed-for-embedded implementation
make it the IPsec implementation of choice for leading
edge networked embedded devices.

SSHield |
|
SSHield
is an embedded Secure Shell (IETF SECSH,
formerly known as SSH) implementation with a full-featured
suite of secure applications that are interoperable with
all popular desktop, server and embedded SSH
implementations. SSHield enables secure communication over
a public or insecure network using popular encryption and
authentication techniques. It includes an SSH server and
client, secure copy (scp), secure FTP client and server (sftp
and sftpd), a built-in version of modular crypto libraries
all of which can be scaled out when not in use. With
advanced features such as X.509 digital certificate
support and Kerberos authentication, performance and
memory optimizations for low-resource embedded
environments. SSHield is an ideal fit for secure
command-line management of any networked equipment and for securely transfering data and image files between field
embedded devices and centralized servers.

SSLimSecure |
|
SSLimSecure
is an embedded implementation of the Secure
Sockets Layer (SSL) & Transport Layer Security (TLS)
protocol. SSLimSecure integrates the core functionality
needed to implement secure HTTPS client/server components
that are fully interoperable with free and commercial HTTP
web browser and server implementations, and to secure any
non-HTTP socket based transactions as well. SSLimSecure
includes support for all popular cryptography algorithms
including AES and 3-DES and offers easy integration with
existing web-based device management systems, embedded web
servers and HTTP clients. Given its ability to scale out
optional features, SSLimSecure is ideally suited for use
in low-resource embedded environments.
