new members of its flagship SecureF1rst line of software
solutions targeted to the next-generation of consumer
premise equipment (CPE) gateways, and the burgeoning market
for home and small-business network storage devices. Both
solutions combine TeamF1's hallmark security and
connectivity features, with the ease-of-use and flexibility
that home and small business users demand.
TeamF1's SecureF1rst CPE Gateway Solution (CGS) enables
broadband service providers (SPs) to deploy rich,
auto-provisioned residential gateways and CPE routers with a
home area networking feature-set that delivers a seamless,
secure "connected-home" experience to end-customers. It also
allows SPs to include third-party applications on the router
that open up dynamic new functionality and potentially drive
additional subscription revenue for the carriers.
The SecureF1rst Network Attached Storage (NAS) package,
available as a stand-alone, turnkey NAS solution or an
add-on to other SecureF1rst wired and wireless turnkey
gateway/AP solutions, raises the bar for network storage,
going beyond sharing of disks and printers. It adds rich
media-handling capabilities, cloud-friendliness and the
ability to interchangeably use the NAS storage medium as
direct-attached storage without losing any metadata.
Both solutions complement TeamF1's existing SMB-grade
SecureF1rst offerings for SMB security routers and
enterprise wireless access points, which have won accolades
in the SMB networking space by enabling many innovative
devices.
