today announced that their SMBware™ family of customizable
software solutions, including the Security Gateway Solution (SGS)
and Managed Access Point Solution (MAPS) will be supported
on the ECONA CNS3XXX family of energy efficient processors
for Digital Home applications from Cavium Networks (NASDAQ:
CAVM), a leading provider of semiconductor products that
enable intelligent processing for networking,
communications, storage, wireless, video and security
applications.
As a Cavium PACE (Partnership to Accelerate Customer
End-solutions) member, TeamF1, Inc., offers both members of
its SMBware family of embedded software solutions - - SGS
and MAPS - - to enable OEMs, Service Providers and ODMs the
ability to bring to market rich, customized and
differentiated networking devices with much less risk and
time-to-market than would be otherwise possible.
The Security Gateway Solution is ideal for deployment in SMB-class
VPN Firewall Routers, both wired and wireless. It can also
be deployed in next generation residential grade

The recently announced Cavium Networks next generation ECONA
Family of ARM-Based Energy Efficient processors offer single
and dual ARM11 CPU cores, a rich set of integrated hardware
accelerators and a range of I/Os for glueless voice, video
and data connectivity. Sophisticated power management
techniques enable super low-power operation starting at less
than 1 Watt. The ECONA CNS3XXX family is targeted for
applications including FTTH broadband gateways, network
attached storage appliances, multimedia picture frames,
media and print servers, IP cameras and wireless access
points.
